| La Terrasse is quite one of the nicest and best-equipped holiday homes in France we have stayed in. The week just sped by in this lovely area and we only managed a fraction of the things we thought we might see and do.

Gite is absolutely lovely, we enjoyed bike rides and walks and made many trips to Taize, so all in all a relaxing and lovely holiday.

Lovely comfortable gite, quite the nicest we have stayed in, added to this we were very impressed by the friendliness of all the people we met – in particular the family who run ‘Le Marronier' in the square, where even a morning coffee became an event.

Definitely the best gite we have stayed in on any of our visits to France. We enjoyed every day - some of the highlights were the Chateau and gardens at Cormatin, the Abbey at Cluny and walks along the voie vert. Our favourite restaurant was Les Vignes in Germagny, with local food beautifully cooked and wines at very reasonable prices. Wherever we ate and drank it was with great pleasure.

Loved the terraces always somewhere for sun or shade and loved being able to walk to all the local shops and market. The gite is so peaceful and relaxing – best holiday ever, thanks.

Our return visit this year has proved every bit as much a success as last summer – such a great place to stay.

This is unequivocally the nicest gite we've ever stayed in, highlights included wine tasting in the Chalonaise and strolling around the picturesque and historical town of St Gengoux– a lovely location for a holiday.
