Le Fournil is located in the delightful village of Germagny, and provides generous accommodation for four people, with a large private southwest-facing garden.

The bright open plan kitchen / living room has french doors onto a large terrace with views over the garden towards the river Guye, and the first of the Charollais hills. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin, both of which have en suite shower rooms. The property has a well-equipped kitchen, with oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample soft seating in the lounge area, which also has a tv and music system. All bed linen and towels are provided.

To the front of the property there is a gravelled car parking area and a garage (useful for storing bikes, roof boxes etc). There is also a small herb garden beside an old ivy covered pigonnier, which catches the early morning sun.

Four a pain

While to the rear the original and still working four a pain (bread oven) provides a shady terrace for al fresco dining. The village has all facilities including a shop/general store, a restaurant, cafe, garage and church. There is a small children's play area on the banks of the river and way-marked walks in the adjoining woods. The "voie verte" cycle path runs nearby.
