Winter can be a wonderful time to visit Burgundy, the pace of life is much slower with local producers such as vignerons often having more time to welcome you and discuss their products. In general the weather is colder and dryer than in the UK, perfect for long walks on crisp frosty days before warming up in front of a roaring log fire, perhaps with a glass of local wine.
All our gites are newly renovated and well insulated, with wood burning stoves and thermostatically controlled electric panel heaters in all rooms, and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Included in these prices is all firewood for the wood burning stove and electricity.
