Wonderful countryside for cycling. Hot weather, so early starts on the voie verte and other quiet routes, back in time for lunch next to the wisteria bower at the front door and then dozing on the back terrace or the wonderfully comfy sofas!

La Terrasse is a superb home from home, very well appointed, very comfortable and beautiful. Its convenient situation, so close to the heart of St Gengoux with its bars, market and shops is a real plus, and it is so QUIET! Fantastic place for a break.

We have had a lovely week for our 3rd visit to La Terrasse. The log fire was very welcome for the first few evenings but the weather became warmer and warmer for our bike rides and walks around Cluny, St Gengoux and Taizé. Thank you for the very cosy and comfortable gite.

Exceeded expectations! We had a wonderful holiday. The gite is well equipped and an ideal base for exploring the area. We managed wine tasting, exploring the chateau and gardens at Cormatin and even a trip on the TGV to Avignon. The local shops have all that is needed and the town is very picturesque. There is so much to see and do, we will have to return!

We have had a wonderful two weeks in La Terrasse. The house is beautiful and even better than we hoped it would be ! Breakfast on the front terrace and evening meals at the back, bathed in sunshine, have been a relaxing part of our stay.

A delightful gite in a delightful village: highly recommended! The gite has everything you could want and the village shops and bars are but a couple of minutes away. Lots to do: all of Burgundy’s sights within an hour or less, just stroll or bike around the vineyards or even go for a swim. A great spot to unwind, drink wonderful wine and get away from it all. Thoroughly enjoyable!
